Band Profile

The Adhesive Experience are based in Mansfield, Notts, England and were formed in 1998 by Rob Young and Al Ellis after their previous band Freakzone finally split. Tony Butterwoth joined from local band Snorkel and Andy Dawson joined later (he also plays guitar in Savage and Republic) after ex-Freakzone drummer Al Ellis moved on.
Lee Horsley began playing with the band in the studio in 2002 and has since become a fundemental part of the live experience.

Tony left in Summer 2008 and Andy is currently focussing on his own material, so the band are currently searching for a new bass player and drummer, if you're interested email us at: rsyoung@ntlworld.com

Adhesive are an original rock band influenced by the 70's style of Jimi Hendrix, Thin Lizzy, Deep Purple, Wishbone Ash and AC/DC and more modern artists such as Paul Weller, Kula Shaker and Ocean Colour Scene. With plenty of vocal harmonies and classic wah-wah tinged, lead guitar lines Adhesive emphasis is strongly on song quality rather than over-indulgent individual performance.
